Toad of the Skies
Sweet are the uses of adversity which, like the toad, ugly and venomous, wears yet a precious jewel in his head.
The parotoid gland is an external skin gland on the back, neck, and shoulder of toads. It secretes a of milky substance known as bufotoxin, which acts as a toxin to deter predation and is used in many magic potions.
