The Sphynx
There are two sisters: one gives birth to the other and she, in turn, gives birth to the first. Who are the two sisters?
The way Sphynxes guard their assigned gates can be one of different kinds. The most well known type of the Sphynx asking a riddle to travelers and letting them pass if they answer correctly was actually not used that often. Of course, why would you want some random stranger being able to enter your temple if they are capable of simple logical thinking?
